Are you a tech-savvy problem solver ready to modernize an expanding IT landscape? As our new IT & Automation Operations Manager (80–100%) in Zurich Wiedikon, you will be right at the heart of our tech evolution. Working within our lean, dynamic Business Technology Solutions team, you will drive the consolidation of our systems and prepare FELFEL for seamless international scale.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Transformation (40%)
  • Drive the migration from overlapping platforms (Google Workspace, Microsoft 365, Dropbox) into one unified, modern workplace ecosystem to support hybrid work and international expansion.
  • Analyze, redefine, and execute scalable IT processes to elevate internal service levels without increasing headcount.
  • Rationalize and simplify our SaaS landscape and optimize software licenses to reduce IT costs by 30–50%.
  • Build, scale, and govern automation workflows across IT and business processes while supporting our motivated citizen developers.
Operational Excellence (40%)
  • Manage end-user computing, device lifecycles, and workplace technology, including laptops, mobile devices, and meeting rooms.
  • Implement and improve Identity & Access Management (IAM), including SSO, MFA, and automated user provisioning and deprovisioning.
  • Elevate our ITIL-based service management framework to ensure rapid internal support, clear SLAs, and high user satisfaction.
  • Standardize processes, maintain data hygiene, and automate workflows across core business systems like ERP, HR, and finance tools.
  • Consolidate vendor relationships, negotiate contracts, and manage software licenses while ensuring data protection and audit readiness.
  • Deploy self-service IT solutions and document core processes to maximize team productivity and eliminate single points of failure.
Business Partnership (10%)
  • Partner with department heads to proactively identify and address business technology needs.
  • Lead organizational change initiatives to ensure the smooth adoption of new tools and processes across the company.
  • Collaborate closely with the engineering and platform teams on authentication, integrations, and shared services.
  • Evaluate and pilot innovative digital tools that drive operational efficiency.

YOUR PROFILE

  • 5–7 years of experience in IT or technology operations, with a proven track record of driving platform migrations and SaaS consolidations.
  • Background working in fast-growing scale-ups or SMEs (100–500 employees), ideally within retail, logistics, or food service.
  • Deep technical expertise in Microsoft 365 or Google Workspace administration, migration, and optimization.
  • Hands-on experience with Identity Management solutions (Azure AD, Google Cloud Identity, Okta) and MDM platforms (Kandji, JAMF, Rippling, Intune).
  • Proficiency in business process automation tools such as n8n, PowerAutomate, or Zapier.
  • Strong understanding of data protection, access controls, and compliance requirements for core business applications.
  • High degree of ownership and autonomy, with the ability to make independent day-to-day decisions and balance operational needs with long-term strategic goals.
  • Creative problem-solving skills and a proven ability to act as a change agent with limited resources.
  • Collaborative mindset with a passion for supporting and consulting the wider organization within a lean team structure.
  • Excellent professional communication skills in English and German; French is a strong plus.

  • Valid work permit or Swiss passport.
